In order to be a true horseman, you must not only be able to ride a horse but be able to care for the horse in every aspect of its life.  Going forward we are taking on a new approach to camp. Our camp is a hands-on approach to horsemanship as whole. We are taking a full-immersion approach in caring for the horse on all levels. Before the riding portion begins, you must first learn to properly bed the horse and care for its needs. The campers then prepare their horses and divulge into learning new techniques in their riding. After the ride, they will learn to properly care for the horse after the ride.

Our programs gives campers ages 7 and older a fun, safe, hands-on opportunity to learn and engage in all facets of horsemanship. Monday through Thursday of camp, the campers are taught to care for their horse’s health and well-being as well as different techniques in their riding. They will be taught riding techniques and experience top notch instructions as well as daily barn management, horse health and nutrition, and learn about horse behavior and health care. On Fridays, one of our show trainers will come in and evaluate what they have learned on all levels. They will evaluate each student’s goals and develop a plan for moving forward.
